Customer Creation

Create merchant customers with POST /customers.

Required fields:

• externalCustomerId
• displayName
• email

externalCustomerId is unique within the authenticated merchant.

The response returns a merchant-scoped customer ID. It does not expose a global consumer ID.

Do not use customer creation as consumer consent. Consent requires a separate consumer-authenticated flow.
