Mandates

Mandates are merchant-specific consumer authorisations.

The sandbox supports:

  • FOLLOW_WALLET_DEFAULTS
  • CUSTOM

FOLLOW_WALLET_DEFAULTS follows the consumer's current eligible wallet preferences. CUSTOM uses only specifically authorised methods for that mandate.

Mandate approval and revocation are consumer-controlled. Merchants cannot silently create, reactivate or change mandates.
